VERY FORTUNATE OWNER
_ Some owners are consistently fortunate in big handicap's, and in this category can unquestionably be placed Mr. Ernest Lee Bteere, chairman of the West Australian Turf Club. He has won two Caulfield Cups (Eorytbmic and Maple), a Sydney Cup (Eurythmio), two Williamstown Cups (Second Wind twice), and two Perth Cups (Eurythmic and Bonny Note)rall within a dozen years. To this tally now has to be; added the coyeted King's Cup with the Royal trophy, in which Second Wind was successful at Hobart on Wednesday.
