J. D. Kemp's jumper, Dark Prince, has completed a spell extending 'over a few months, and is again in regular work at Ellerslie, states a northern report. He has been well cared for during his holiday; and he has returned to work looking particularly bright-and healthy. • His appearance indicates that he will not nbe Jong in reaching racing condition, and, all going well, he may be; forward enough tb_have a race at the autumn meetings. t Dark Prince was successful in several steeplechase events last winter, and as he may improve still further, he will be one of the main hopes of the northern brigade for, important steeplechase events m the coming jumping season.
