BRITISH TARIFF
BUTTER AND CHEESE
DUTIES
The New Zealand Dairy Produce Board has received the following cable from its London office dated 4th February, 1932:—
"Government announces general tariff 10 per cent., with certain exceptions such as meat, including bacon, wheat, wool, and cotton. Schedule items to be subject to duty will not be available for several days, but understand butter and cheese will be subject to duty. Dominions produce exempt from all ■ tariff until Ottawa Conference."
