SYDNEY SALES RESULTS.
SYDNEY, 6th October. At the wool sales to-day 10,855 bales were offered and 9852 were sold at auction, in addition to which 082 were disposed of. privately. Best spinners' wool did not meet with the same competition as last week, but other grades remained firm, dreasy merino made up to 14% d. The average price of the wool sola last week was £11 5s per bale, or 8.4 d per pound.
