DEMAND LESS ACTIVE
(Received 7th October, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, 6th October
Offerings at the wool sales were 0569 bales, including 760 New South Wales, 2013 Queensland, 595 Victoria, 1625 West Australia, 4501 New Zealand. Approximately 6520 bales were sold.
Competition was less active, many buyers having filled their requirements. Withdrawals were more numerous owing to high limits. , Sales were:-Greasy combings, New South Wales, "Woolbrook," 12Vfcd. 12V4d; Queensland, "Montrose," 12d to 10* d; Victorian "Cai.paul." 12d to \\&if, scoured Queensland, "Melrose, Mad to lOHd; West Australian, "Warrawagine, 14% d to 14% d; New Zealand shpe, "Eclipse," lid to BHd; scoured half bred, "Rollesby," Cd to 15% d.
