Cabled advice has been received at Auckland that Dr. Martin Keller, for many years a prominent practitioner in Auckland was fatally shot by a demented patient at the Glcndalo Sanatorium, Los Angeles, of. which Dr. Keller was medical director. ' Dr. Keller, whose wife, Dr. Florence Keller, was equally well known, had a lurge practice in Auckland for about 15 years. Ho left New Zealand in 1921 to take up the position of dean of the White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles, and was later appointed to the position of medical director of the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, at which the tragedy occurred.
