The Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club's annual road race from Wangamii to Palmerston North-was. staged, under ideal conditions . this afternoon. Hunt, riding strongly, led the cyclists J through Bulls, and maintained his advantage, finishing first, with the second man following at an interval of approximately five minutes; The best performance was given by Tolley, i the Marton rider, who, starting off scratch, finished easily at seventh place. .
