(J. Kidling (wearing deep marine blue lace), Mrs. J. 11. liowell (wearing jet lace), and Mrs. W. 11. Bennett (in wine tatt'eta). Tho committeo comprised Mesdames V. Evans (who wore pale roso taffeta), Paul (white satin), Britton (whito satin), Misses E. Laycock (jet lace), C. Hansen (blue chiffon velvet), E. Brigdeii (lettuce groon georgette), I. Tandy (duehesso 'blue georgette ancHace); J. Buck (red lace), and Messrs. V: Evans, Gribblo, B. and •E. Lander, S. Blair, and G. Kent. Among other present wero Misses Lawrence, EJ Kuring, G. Schmidt (Sydney), M. Buckeridge, W. Bardsley, Wmdley, G. Taylor, J. Dunnet, N. Pederson, B. :Webster,-Hamilton, L. Dick, Parsonage, Hodgkinson, Bacon, Gilchrist, . Allen, Cooper, Welsby, Paton,- and M. Mann, Mrs. Bobb, Mrfc Hartley, Mr. .and Mrs. J. Conneley, Messrs. W. H. Bennett, A. Meacheri, ■ Williams, M'lvor, J. Jenkins, Burns, • Upchurch, Cahui, Burke, Jolmstone,, Brownley, Newman, and Boilings. The "Monte. Carlo" dance was won by Miss J. Dunnet and Mr. D. Gamble. The proceeds of the evening were devoted to the. funds of the combined cricket, tennis, and football clubs.
