TENSION EASED IN SPAIN

The tension between Church and State has boon considerably eased by the Pope's acceptance of Cardinal Segura's resignation of the Primacy. The Minister of^Justice, Don Fernando do los Bios, comments that the resignation is of enormous importance as a corrective to those with wrong ideas as to what Catholicism should be in relation to the State, and also -with clericals who are more concerned with politics than religion.
