The following races were held recently. by the "Worser Bay Swimming and LifeSaving Club:^ — Brodie Cup.—First distance, 50 yards free style handicap.—y. L. Allan 1, A. Hepburn-2, J. W. Newport 3.- Second distance)1. 100 yards free style handicap.—X. Wilton 1, V. L. ( Allan 2, L. G. Grimstone 3. fThird distance, 150 yards free style handicap.— W. Dougall I, J. J. Warring 2, A. Hepburn 3. The cup was won this^season by V. L. Allan with 8 points. He -first won the cup in 1910, the first _ year it was competed for, and has won it on several: occasions since.
