Following are the results:— Open Championship, first round.—Mrs. T. Si. Mac Donald (Invercargill) beat Mrs. ■M'Crea.th (Gore), 26-24, 26-19; Mrs. Healey (Wobdville) beat Mrs. Quinn (Invercargill), 26-21, .26-20. \ ■'■ Ladies' • Championship, second life— Semi-finals: Mrs. Telfer (Gore) beat Mrs. Aitken (G0re),,26-7; Mrs. Mac Donald (Invercargill) beat-Mrs. Corbet (Punga), 26----24. ■ ' ■:. ■•■ ■
