SUBURBS CLUB

Tke Suburbs Defence Rifle Club visited Tre«*ham on Saturday afternoon and completftd the third mktch in the second series of. the championship'at ranges 300 and 500 yards, ten shots at each range. This match was fired on the Spmmerville range. The wind and elevation during- the afternoon was -very troublesome to the members, many registering the well-known Trenthanv "magpies" after a string of bulls. The club is using the Defence Department's issue of ammunition to rifle clubs,. 1928 Mark VII.', C3Ol, cordite. 'The' ' best range scores for the day were as follow:— 300 yards, 'W. Fellingham 47, and A. Sherbrooke 46; at 600 yards, A.,Stewart was the best effort with a nice 47. L. Fellingham, a junior shot, working on jlis, own judgment, was top for the day with his handicap with 95. On 20th December the club willfire its annual special' Christmas shoot at ranges 300 and 500 yards, ten shots at each..range..
