FOREST FIRES
DEATHS IN CALIFORNIA
HEAVY STORM AS WELL
LOS ANGELES, 22nd Nov. ■ Six persons were killed and scores were injured when forest fires broke out in several sections. Enormous property damage was caused-on Saturday by a wind storm, which swept Southern California. The wind at times reached a velocity of 85 miles an hour. Shipping and aeroplane services were hampered. Fruit orchards were badly damaged.
