SUBURBS CLUB
The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club visited Trentham on Saturday afternoon and completed the second match in the second series of the club's championship at ranges 800 and 900 yards, ten shots at each range. The weather was fine, but overcast, a cold rear right wind blowing during the afternoon; the light was very troublesome, many misses being recorded during the afternoon. Peat and Sherbrooke both reached the possible (100) with their handicaps. The best range scores were:—Boo yards, T. Goodall, 46; at 000 yards, Sherbrooke and Peat, 43 each. >;:
