CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The first "ladies' evening" given by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce took place last evening at the Adelphi Cabaret, and proved a very successful function. The cabaret, which was decorated with flowers and bright-col-oured floating ballooßß, was crowded with dancers. The president, Mr. D. J, M'Gowan, and Mrs. M'Gowan, were host and hostess.
