SUCCESSFUL DANCES
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The first "ladies' evening" given by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce took place last evening at the Adelphi Cabaret, and proved a very successful function. The cabaret, which was decorated with flowers and bright-col-oured floating ballooßß, was crowded with dancers. The president, Mr. D. J, M'Gowan, and Mrs. M'Gowan, were host and hostess. Mrs. M'Gowan's frock was of black embossed georgette. The Mayor and Mrs. Troup wove among the guests, Mrs, Troup wearing tjkek ■chenille, georgette'and a, black coatee.
