BUGBY, 19th' February.

Mi\G'illett, Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department, stated that the Government had notified the Egyptian Government that it accepted the new Customs Tariff, but it had drawn, the attention of the Egyptian Government to a few items in tho tariff which appeared to call for reconsideration. The tariff was provisional in character and further suggestions would be made to the* Egyptian Government if the experience of working showed such action to be desirable.
