QUESION OP WHEAT PURCHASE

BUGBY, 19th February. The Lord Privy Seal, Mr. J. H. Thomas, held a meeting yesterday between representatives of the Canadian Wheat Pool and the Association of Millers of Great Britain to continue discussions on development of wheat shipments' from Canada, which would facilitate the. shipment -of coal and other products from the United Kingdom. The 'National. Association indicated the readiness to increase again its purchases of Canadian wheat which enabled it to use a higher proportion of home-grown wheat. Bepresentatives of the pool expressed satisfaction with the declaration of the association that tho British millers wanted to use Canadian wheat and that at suitable prices they would willingly increase their purchases of it.
