Tho section ties in the bowling tournament were finished this morning. Mingins (Rernuera) had two unfinished games to play off. He-beat Pilkington and put him out of tho section, but went down-to Botorua (Loffley) and lost his own chance, leaving Hataitai (Brighting) and Matamata. (Livingstone) to play off for section L They agreed Ip play 21 heads, but on the oighteenth Brighting, finding the position hopeless, withdrew, Matamata winning the section, 27-9. Norrie Bell

(Hamilton) and Adeano (West End) played seven, heads .to settle section 2. On the fourth head Bell was up 6-1, but Adeano secured- three, two, and a single and. won the section. Tho final is being played this afternoon between Matamata and West End.. '■ - ■■. • ,
