CHICAGO, 17th February.
Wheat broke sharply as noon, and then recovered partially just before the close. Short covering was the maiu factor in stopping the selling. The march of wheat established a new season low, and other months wore within fractions of their recent low points. The close registered: March, 1 dollar 13 1-8 cents; May, :1 dollar 17J cents; July, 1 dollar 18 7-8 cents; September, 1 dollar 20-5-8 cents.
