BLOW TO CANADIAN POOL

FINANCIAL AID NEEDED

WINNIPEG, 17th February.

A dramatic break of four cents..* bushel in wheat prices to-day gave a grave blow to the wheat pool, which, is now within a cent of tho margin agreed upon by the banks and Provincial Governments to avert panic. A further decline means that the Governments must aid the pool financially.
