KARITANE HOME
APPEAL TO RAISE MORTGAGE
"That an effort was being made, with the support of the' Rotary Club, to raise a fund to pay off the £4000 mortgage 011 the Plunkct Karitane Home, Wellington, which was;guaranteed by eight Rotarians, and on which a halfyear's interest (£120) was due, was announced at the Rotary Club luncheon this afternoon by the president (Mr. J. M. A. Ilott). Already, added the president, four members of the club had come forward and promised £40.0 towards the fund. (Applause.)
