MAJESTIC THEATRE.

Laura La I'lanto scores an outstanding success in "Hold Your Man," tho all-talking production now being screened at tho Majestic Theatre. "Hold Your Man" is amusing from start to finish. It is a story-of the domestic rift in tho lives of a young.American couple caused by the wife's ■ determination to go to Paris to study art. There she. meets a romantic foreigner. Later her husband and the girl he intends to marry, as soon as a Paris divorce clears the way, arrive. A heavy rainstorm imprisons in one apartment the participants in tho romantic mix-up, and complications of a highly entertaining nature follow in rapid succession. Miss La Plante has one of the happiest roles of her career. Walter Scott, a comparative newcomer to the screen, plays opposite Miss La Plante. He already has made a name for himself in stock and musical comedy, and his flini career will be watched with interest. He does excellent work in "Hold Your Man." Eugene Borden and Mildred Van Dora also merit the, highest commendation for their performance. Emmett Flynn directed "Hold Your Man" in a highly creditable fashion. The picture is based on a story written by Maxlne Alton. An interesting and well-varied supporting programme includes tho second of the new all-talking "Collegians" series.
