SYDNEY, This Day

The Rothbury miners, who decline work under the terms recommended by the union leaders, will be refused the dole by the Government. Tho same course will be followed with the other mines as t,he Government takes them over. Cabinet intends to man the Rothbury forthwith, and it is expected that coal JUewing will start early next week.

Before the Rothbury colliery is opened by the Government a police camp will bo established at an adjacent mine. .Arrangements are also being made to enable the miners to live in tents. Similar plans apply to two or three other collieries.
