LONDON FROZEN MEAT PRICES.
The Bank o£ New Zealand Produce Department has received the following advieeVfrom its London office as at close of business last week:—"Frozen Meat: There is;?-little better demand for wether mutton. It is thought; that ewes will remain.steady at present quotations. The market for lambs is affected by heavy supplies of Ausralian. Beef is in short supply and: prices are nominal:—Wether, light 6%d.t0 6%d per 1b; heavy, 5%d to 6dewes, id. to 4%d; lambs, 2's, 8d to B%d--B's, 7%d to 8d; 4's, 7d to 7%d; seconds, 7d fo 7%d; ox, hinds, 6d to 6%d; fores 4%d to sd; cow, hinds, sY*d to 5%d: fores 4d to 4%d.
