FOUND DEAD

The dead body of Mr. William Shearer, aged 81, of 219, Main road, Karon, who, as announced in yesteday's "Post," had been missing since noon on Saturday, was found at 9.45 this morning in the bush at the back of the Karori Cemetery, death apparently having been due to exhaustion. It was reported yesterday that Mr. Shearer was last seen near the main entrance of the cemetery, and a search was made by a party of police and a number of civilians in the locality. The body has been removed to the morgue.
