BAND CONTEST

DTJNBDIN, This Day. " ; The South Island Brass Bands' Association has appointed Mr. Christopher Smith conductor of the Auckland Municipal as the judge of the band contests -to be held at Dunedin in February, and •Mr. Archibald Schnack as judge of the ■ solos.
