DREDGING THE SHOTOVER.

An Invercargill company, with a capital of £100,000 fully subscribed, has been formed to dredge the Shotover River. The name of the company is Golden Terrace Extended' Dredging Company, Ltd. The dredge in process of completion is being butt1; by Sparrow and C 0.,, of -Dunedin. It Tvill cost £40,000, with a capacity of 40,000 cubic yards per week, and dredge to a depth of 35ft, and will be operated by electricity. The claim consists of 750 acres ou the Shotover Rivei.
