DISRUPTIVE ORGANISATION
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —As I have not been in this country very long, I was amazed to find that even in this far-flung Dominion a branch of that disruptive organisation, the Third or Communist Internationale, is actively functioning here; .although in all probability the New Zealand branch is the weakest link in the chain of parties established in fifty-seven countries. From what I have seen of Communistic methods in European countries, these agitators usually establish a press, from which they pour forth then- schemes in order to catch the unsuspecting workman who, once he is innoculated with this poisonous propaganda, will, with visions of an earthly Paradise, help to betray his workmates into the clutches of these disrupters. Undoubtedly a most timely move has been made in checking the spread of this disloyal and pernicious literature, and probably those who "have now reaped the fruits of their labour will be more careful when they are again allowed to mix with their fellow-men.—l am, etc.,
PRO BONO PUBLICO.
