FUSE WIRES SHATTERE.

OHAKUNE, 19th October

A severe electrical storm passed over Ohakune this morning. The last flash shattered all fuses, putting the electric power-house out of action. All telephone fuses, were also broken. As falas is known, no fatalities occurred, but several persons suffered severe shocks when electric light fuses broke.
