(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 19th October. A violent thunderstorm broke over the city this afternoon) accompanied by a sharp hailstorm, which cleared tho air. It was followed by a torrential downpour of rain, which continued intermittently to well on into the evening. The fall between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. was half an inch.
