Replying to a question' raised in the Legislative Council yesterday afternoon by the Hon. A. S. Malcolm, the Leader of the Council (Sir Heaton Rhodes) said that the Government had inquired into the question as to whether the benefits of the superannuation scheme could bo extended to the widows of teachers. It had been fonnd that there were so many difficulties to be overcome that it was not found possible to do anything this session. However, the matter was still being considered by the Government.
