Owing to numerous requests from competitors and friends of the Wellington Competitions, the adjudicators, Mr. John Hopkins (elocutionary section) and Mr. E. Bennett North (vocal section) have consented to give joint recitals. These will be two in number, and they will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, 14th and 15th September. They will be held in the Concert Chamber. Mrs. John Hopkins, of Melbourne, elocutionist, and Madame Bennett North, dramatic contralto, will assist the judges.
