AUCKLAND, 31st August. Dr. J. Hardie Neil, of Auckland, returned by tho Marama after two mouths in America, on a visit intended to interest thcjrnedieal profession in the Australasian congress to be held at Dunediu in the first week iv February. Two particularly prominent Americans attending, he said, would be Dr. G. Piness, a world-wide authority on hay fever, who offered to train gratia a graduate approved by the New Zealand University, and Professor N/orval Pierce, of tho . Chicago University.
