PRICES OF MEAT IN LONDON.

The New Zealand £teat Producers' Board has been advised by cablegram from its London manager tha,t the retail prices Issued as a guido to the public by the Superintendent of the Smithfield Market for New Zealand lamb and mutton retailed in London on the 27tli August, 1920, were as under. Tlie retail prices for the corresponding date late year are shown in parentheses:— New Zealand Lamb.-Legs, 14d per !b (18d to 19d); shoulders, 14d (17d to lSd); loins, 12d to 14d (18d); necks, Sd (lOd); breasts, 6d New Zealand Mutton (wether) .-Legs, lOd to 12d per lb (12d to 14d): 3houlders, 8d to JOd COd to 12d); loins, 8d (9d to 12d); necks, 7d to 9d (6d to Od); breasts, 4d (8d to sd). The New Zealand Heat Producers Board has received the following cablegram from its London office, dated 27th August, 1926, advising Sniithfield ilejivered prices at that date as below.
