surer, to-day, before announcing his interpretation of the agreement.

HOBART, This Day. Sir W. H. Leo, Treasurer, on returning from a- visit to Mr. Bruce, stated that the situation .which has arisen respecting the financial proposals of the Commonwealth, was unsatisfactory.
