STATE TIMBER DISPOSAL

SYDNEY, This Day. Mr. R. T. Ball, Minister of Public Works, announced that the Government has privately, disposed of the State timber stocks for £107,000. When tenders were invited the highest bid was £80,000. The buildings and plant were still under offer for £65,000.
