FLAXMILL WORKERS
CONFERENCE LIKELY TO TAKE PLACE.

PALMERSTON N., 4th June,
On account of some slight -unforeseen hitch having occurred, the representor lives of the New Zealand Flaxmillers' Association and the Manawatu Flaxmill -Workers' Union respectively have so far been unable to get together and discuss the proposed new agreement relating to wages, etc., for the men engaged in,the industry. It is confidently _ expected, however, that arrangements will be concluded this week by which a conference will definitely take place on Monday next.
