MASTER LUPIN WINS THE STEEPLES.

The totalisator handled £78,966, making £137,20. for the two days, an increase, of £11,231 10fi over tho corresponding' two days last year. Hurry Up led to the distance, "where Housewife and Parisian Diamond came through, the for-mer-winning comfortably by three-quar-ters of a length.- White Blaze, which finished well, was a head away. Also, started: 2 Otara, 10.4, 4 Notability 10.2, 5 Keystone 9.0, 3 Gunwale 9.0, 8 Toiara Jack 9.0. _ Entente Cordiale led all the way, winning easily by threo lengths from Signature, which beat Reformation, which was always well placed, by a head. Omahu led all the way, wuming comfortably by a. neck from Cynic, which finished very fast, beating Gatherer by three lengths. Time, lmin 45sec.
