The first is that the United States shall receive a, mandate for Constantinople and. Armenia ; the second that Greece shall control, the.coastal region, having Smyrna as its principal centre. The third proposal is that Italy shall administer Southern Anatolia, and the fourth that Northern Anatolia, including Broussa, and Angora, shall form a Turkish State, whose independence France shall undertake to safeguard.
