Ideal weather condition.-, prevailed for the opening day of the Fcilding Industrial, Agricultural, and Pastoral Association's ninth annual show. 'Hie attendance was well up to the usual average on Judging Day, and the town is full of visitors from many distant parts in anticipation of People's Day. There is a splendid disjlay of horses, sheep, and cattle on the grounds. The fat sheep classes are a special feature of the show, and give striking testimony to the fertility of the districts surrounding Feilciing. which already has the credit of being the best stock-fatten-ing centre on the coast.
