STRANGE RESOLUTION BY LABOURERS' UNION. (BT TBLEGRAI'H— KRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, 4th February. • At a largely-attended meeting of the General Labourers' Union to-night the following motion was unanimously agreed to : — "That this union views with disgust the prosecuting of boyß two or three timesi for one offence, the taking away of their"fc,iyil rights, and the garnisheeing of their Wages,- and urges upon tho citizens to do all, in their power to lessen the birth-rate until the Defence Act is repealed."
