PETONE TECHNICAL SCHOOL
The^ initial meeting of the Petpfte 1 Technical School Board for the present year was held last evening. There were ,present : Rev. Thomson (chairman), and Messrs. Roets, M'Kenzie, M'Ewan, Trueman, and Castle (secretary). All tho instructors of the different classes accepted position for the current year on the same a& last year. It was rcolved that 'all these be appointed. Mrs. Wan en was appointed instrui'trpw for the dressmaking and millinery class, and },\v. Mitchell for shorthand and tj perilling. They were both appointed for a term. Notification vas received to the effect that Merits. M'Ewan and M'Kenzie were nominated by the, Education Boaid* us its representatives on the Petone Board, and Messrs. Castle and Duncan by the" Gear Company. The financial statement showed a credit balance of £68 Is 7d.
