Roberta^ lion. sec. of the Northern Bowling Association, among; players of the Wellington, Thorndon, Victoria, and NewttJwh Clubs bveV eixty-nve tears of age. Tho idea is that the competitors shall play a - champion of champions single (competition, for. which the prise is a* pair of ivory-mounted bowls, and play has already commenced among the forty competitors who have entered.
