PRIZE-GIVING AT HUTT.

The annual prize-giving ceremony in connection with the Lower Hutt Main School took place yesterday afternoon. Amongst those present were Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Wilford. In addressing the children, Mr. Wilford reminded them that they were now enjoying the best time of their lives. He emphasised what a great thing education "was, and counselled them to get as much of it as they could. Mrs. Wilford then presented the prizes, giving out altogether about 300 books. At the conclusion Mr. Wilson (chairman of the School Committee) heartily thanked Mr. and Mrs. Wilford for attending.
