TOWN BOARD.
CAt the last meeting of the Board, the City Surveyor laid on the table the schedule of the prohaole works to be undertaken during the ensuing year, as follows :— Open drain along oast side of Tinakora road Open drain alor.g east side of Canal Rewrjh Metalling of Molesworth street, 10 chain's 1 ' Completion of metalling of Willis street, ,12 chauys , » Formatter, of Tasman street, 24 chains Metalling No. 2 contract, Adelaide road, 70 chains Metall ng Terrace road, 26 chains (Prisoners) formation of Lawrence street 5 chains, Thorndon Ward (Prisoners) formation of Hill street, 16 chains, Thorndon Ward Metalling Lambton Quay, 25 chains Metalling Manners street, 6 chains Contingencies, Culvert, Damage, &c. The City Surveyor also gave the estimated expenditure of the above works, as he had been requested to do &t the last meeting of the Board. ESTIMATED TtEVENUE OF THB BOARD Mr J. B. Wallace brought up the following estimate of revenue for the coming year : —
The Board then adjourned to Thursday next, at three p.m., instead of Friday, on account of the meeting of the New Zealand Steam Navigation Company taking place on that day.
