The Criminal Sittings commence on Friday next. Some serious charges appear on the face of the calendar. Jliley, larceny ; Frank Spencer, .'issiMilt with intent 5 Pita and other Maoris, killing a bullock ; Patrick Alfred, assault \vif!i intent to murder ; Gerald Fitzmorris, breach of Arms Act ; Francis Phillip, felony.
