Kir D A. Cameron, Into Commander of the Troops in Now Zmlsm<], with his staff., arrived in S\dnc-y by the steamer from. Auckland, on Monday, the 7th instant, and purpose; to return to England by the next mail steamer. Genor.il Carey was also a passenger by the «teamer, and will at once proceed to Melbourne to rtccive Biigailier General Chute, who will succeed General Cameron in the comnruicl of the troops in New Zealand.— .Sydney Herald, 12th August.
