The Times thinks the address of the Canadian Parliament to the Queen in favour of Home Rule in Ireland amounts to a vote of censure on the Government, and of en couragement to its avowed enemies. The Mormons propose to make a combined effort to defeat the operation of the bill to suppress polygamy. Edward Arthur Wellington died in London, aged C 8 General Grant, giving his opinion concerning the Ar.g’o Egyption trouble to a reporter of the Philadelphia Record, said the peop'e of Egypt were ten times worse off than the negroes of the South. He believed English protection would help to develop the resources of the country and improve the condition of the people.
