CAPETOWN, July 28.

News is to hand from Pretoria that the trial of several Boers arrested for the murder of Mr Malcolm, during the war, has resulted in their acquittal. The jury was composed of liners.

Telegrams to hand from Pretoria report that the settlement of the Transvaal question is now expected to bo arrived at immediately between the Royal Commission and the Boer leaders. It has been arranged that England shall have full right of passage of troops in the Transvaal, and complete control of the foreign relations of the Boers. The duties of tho British Resident will be similar to those of ConsulGeneral.
