BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, Juno 23rd, It has transpired that Mr Parnell will shortly pay another visit to the United States. Great excitement prevails in Italy throughout Italy in consequence of the late riots at Marseilles, and the numerous arrests of Italian subjects that have since been made by order of the French Government. Anti French meetings are being held in several Italian towns to express indignation with the action of the French. Three Liberal deputies of the Bulgarian National Assembly have been murdered at Sophia. Much disorder and agitation continues to prevail in the principality. June 25. In consequence of the alow progress which has hitherto been made in the negotiou for a renewal of the commercial treaties of 1860 and 1873 between France and England, the French Government has agreed to prolong the existing treaties for three months.

Intelligence has been received at Paris of a terrible occurrence in Algeira. A large body of native Arabs made an overwhelming attack on some Spanish colonists resident at Saida, The latter could offer but feeble resistance, and were consequently overcome, over 100 being killed, and 400 taken prisoners, the majority being seriously wounded.

It is currently reported that the Minister of the Interior in Russia, will shortly propose that a considerable decrease be made in their military forces. There is at the present time much agitation in commercial circles against the 'proposed intention of the French Government to increase the duties imposed on British goods.

June 26. Telegrams are to hand reporting that a terrible disaster has occurred in Mexico. A train conveying a large number of passengers was precipitated into the river Guartila, and over 200 persons were drowned.
